wow dude, I’m not the only one who compares the two movies xd some similarities that I found are: - The ring in LOTR makes the one who wears it crazy and they want to keep the ring; in HP’s “the deadly hallows”, there is a necklace Horcrux, who make the one who wears it crazy, greedy and jealous. They both have to destroy the jewelry. - In both movies they put a soul in an object, preventing the “evil one” from dying - Dobby looks a bit like Gollum.. - Both movies have a HUGE spider in it; Shelob (LOTR) and Aragog (HP) - They both have an old and wise man who is a dear friend; Gandalf (LOTR), Albus Dumbledore (HP) - The Dementors in HP look a lot like the Nazgûl from LOTR - Both movies have a swamp or water with dead bodies in it but I still love both movies!
